About Lemon Studios

"A film is never really good unless the camera is an eye in the head of a poet."

– Orson Wells

Jared Lemon spent his childhood creating complex, imaginary worlds with his younger brother; unlike the average children whose games change from day to day, the Lemon brothers would spend weeks developing their stories, complete with heroes, villains, double agents, and last-minute plot twists.

As he got older, Jared started to dream of writing films. It wasn't until his little brother was given a video camera that those dreams started to become reality. In no time flat, Jared and his brother were making mini-series.

The brothers' films didn't get much better until their school hosted a film festival. Jared, by now the more passionate filmmaker, wrote and directed his first award-winning film as a sophomore in high school; the film took three awards, and Jared took another for editing a friend's film. This festival fueled the spark of passion for his art within Jared and launched him on a journey into the marvelous world of media.

Inspired to make more films, Jared co-created the company TeenFilm Productions; Jared and his casts and crews (comprised of willing friends) churned out several award-winning, highly popular films, including films that placed in state video competitions.
